 WELCOME

The Northern Arizona Chapter is the oldest chapter in Arizona. We’ve been around for 30 years.  Our main goal is to promote hunting and conservation for the entire family. We want to ensure that our hunting heritage is passed on to every family member from generation to generation.  In the 30 years we’ve been a chapter, we’ve raised thousands of dollars to help improve habitat for many of Arizona’s native wildlife species. Projects that we have funded include turkey biology research, turkey translocations, habitat improvement, and wildlife water improvement projects. We are also active in our community providing opportunities for your JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge Ethics and Sportmanship) members to learn about safe hunting and firearms handling, as well as mentoring them to be our next generation of hunters and conservationists.  Our chapter has helped sponsor many Hunter Education Programs in Flagstaff and we help sponsor the annual youth hunting camp near Happy Jack, Arizona. Additionally, we provide a scholarship to a northern Arizona high school senior heading to college.
